This is one of our fighters, Angel.
He is 7 years old and was diagnosed with High Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in late September of 2017.
This year, Angel hopes to receive some toy soldiers and police officers from Santa. He also loves anything from Pixar, especially Cars! His dream gift is a Nintendo Switch that he can play with his father.
As part of our Holiday Cheer program, he will be receiving some gifts from his wish list for Christmas!
Angel is an only child who is very close to his parents. His father is a disabled combat veteran who attends LFCC full-time. His mother is also a full-time student at LFCC.
There is a financial stress that comes with the holidays for fighting families like the Juarez’s that we hope to relieve by purchasing these big ticket items from their wish lists.
Angel is currently nine months off of chemotherapy, but treatment has left him with a very compromised immune system. It has been a difficult month as he looks to gain his strength back after the side effects from treatment.
The holidays are a time we can help fighting families like Angel’s just enjoy each other again so please, donate!
