This is one of our local fighters, Kelsey!

Kelsey was only 9 months old when she was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroblastoma on March 13, 2017 after 7 tumors were found in various locations on her body. She is now 11 months old and has spent a large portion of her time in and out of the hospital, often traveling several hours to and from D.C. for stem cell treatment.

She has had very bad reactions to chemotherapy – vomiting, fevers, sleeplessness – and requires a feeding tube to eat, but she is continuing to push through and continues to fight.

We first visited Kelsey a little over a month ago, delivering a care package right before she was due to have surgery on a leaking line. Since then, she’s been continuing treatment and continuing to fight cancer like a champ.

You can help put a smile on Kelsey’s face and be the strength her parents need by donating or signing up to volunteer!
